This years class in “Advanced Programming” at the Kunstuniversität Linz’ Interface Culture Lab focuses on TheArtCollider! We expect new ideas and works for the upcoming exhibition in April.
Addendum: Many thanks too all participants. It’s been a great time; not only were there new art pieces, but the workshop also resulted in lots of good reference implementations and example code.
On December 12 2009 Maurice Benayoun and Robin Gareus will host seminar and workshop at CiTu, University of Paris.
In the Seminar will feature a presentation of existing projects, explain how to join the Collider and eventually delve into details of the infrastructure. There will also be time to discuss ideas and projects
The Seminar is aimed at both artists (audio and/or visual) and technology students (Computer engineering, Maths, Hard/Software developers).
It will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 at l’Université Paris 8, Saint-Denis, room D332.
Since yesterday night, http://thearcollider.org/flex sports a new interface to send a webcam directly to the Collider.
New features include re-sizable frame (from 160×120 to 800×600) and the possibility to either directly entering meta-data or get the meta-information from your Project page instead. Besides that it offers a much cleaner user-interface.
Happy streaming!
I attended the workshop at SFAI in San Francisco. As a result, I’m working on a sound project for the artcollider that will create a dialogue between a site sound and sounds coming from the artcolllider. Here’s a link to the first map and experiment: SFAI_Workshop_JennKarson.pdf:
